The Story
One Love Food & Arts Market, the outdoor cultural market run by Toronto entrepreneur and CityPlace resident Caron Morgan, returns to CityPlace at Canoe Landing Park for 13 dates between June 6 and August 15, 2026. The market sits at the midpoint of the City of Toronto's official pedestrian fan corridor between Union Station and BMO Field. Every fan walking to a match or back from one passes through One Love.
One Love is the only independent, community-built market on the route. It's open to vendors of every nation and background, women-owned businesses, family-run shops, and independent makers. The food cultures of the world gathered in one place: Caribbean, West African, South Asian, Latin American, Middle Eastern, East Asian, European, and everyone who calls Canada home.
Music programming is led by the City of Toronto's 2026 Team-of-the-Season Drom Artist Collective, with creative direction by award-winning visual designer Benny Yip (Ultra Creative). The market is produced in collaboration with the CityPlace and Fort York BIA.
On-the-Record Quotes
“Black history is world history. This market reflects how Black culture has shaped and continues to shape our shared world.”
“The tournament comes once. The market stays forever. One Love is not a banner opportunity. It is a belonging opportunity.”
“We are the only independent community market on the City of Toronto's official fan corridor. The unofficial fan zone on the official route.”
